Shocking Diagnosis: My Life Turned Upside Down After Intense Hospital Stay in Germany

I had just begun a new work in Germany, so it was meant to be an exciting period in my life. But destiny had other ideas for me. I began to have sporadic night shivers along with a temperature and back discomfort. I initially believed I had the flu, but as the symptoms persisted, I made the decision to go to the hospital.

To find the issue, the physicians put me through a series of tests. They advised me to remain in the hospital for a week so they could keep track of my condition and perform various tests. I was terrified and unsure of what was happening to me, but I had to have faith in the medical professionals.

The physicians determined that I have tuberculosis after running various tests. I couldn't believe what I'd heard after hearing the news, which was shocking. In an instance, my entire world was turned upside down.

The physicians wanted to look into it more, so they advised a biopsy and bronchoscopy to rule out any other possibilities. Although I was apprehensive about the intrusive procedures, I knew they were required to find the source of my disease.

Both psychologically and physically exhausting, the experience. It was made further harder by the fact that I was away from my family and friends in a different nation. For me, the hospital setting was also new and uncharted ground.

My horror story is only getting started, and I will be sharing my experience on how Tuberculosis turned by life upside down. It may inspire others who might be going through something similar and also an honest effort from myself to prevent people from going through the same, if they can detect it earlier. Keep an eye out for my upcoming blog, where I'll talk more about my course of therapy and how I'm handling my diagnosis, which is far from over.
