I am writing this blog to raise awareness about tuberculosis and share my own personal experience with the disease, particularly its spinal form known as Pott's disease. Firstly, let me start by saying that tuberculosis is still a major public health issue, affecting millions of people worldwide every year. To find the issue, the physicians put me through a series of tests. They advised me to remain in the hospital for a week so they could keep track of my condition and perform various tests.  I first started shivering at night and had agonizing back pain in the winter of 2020. I originally attempted to ignore it, but it eventually became intolerable. In Poland, where I was living at the time, I saw a local doctor, but he was unable to determine the origin of my symptoms. The shivering increased in frequency and the discomfort in my back grew worse as the days went by. In an effort to get a diagnosis and a treatment, I went to a number of doctors in Poland. Several medical exams, including an MRI of my lower spine, were performed on me, but nothing seemed to be working. My health was interfering with both my personal and professional life, and I was starting to lose hope.
